This weekend, after three years, we once again met (online) with a group of specialized enthusiasts and researchers from Europe, America, and Australia who focus on Gouldian finches [Chloebia gouldiae] The meeting covered both the protection of the species in its natural habitat and the various color mutations. I can assure you, it was a very interesting and successful meeting.
Dit weekend hebben we, na drie jaar, opnieuw (online) samengezeten met een aantal gespecialiseerde liefhebbers en onderzoekers uit Europa, Amerika en Australië die zich bezighouden met gouldamadines [Chloebia gouldiae]. Tijdens de bijeenkomst kwamen zowel de bescherming van de soort in hun natuurlijke habitat als de kleurmutaties aan bod. Ik kan u verzekeren: het was een zeer interessante en geslaagde meeting.
