Good news: scientists sampled the full genomes of all nine lovebird species (genus Agapornis) from wild populations. Now this info can be used for further research. All raw reads and assembled genomes have been deposited and are available on GenBank (National Center for Biotechnology Information NCBI) so they always can be use by other researchers.
